Stanford College of Higher Education provides academic and professional education pathways, including Diplomas, Higher Diplomas, UK qualifications, Bachelor’s Degree pathways, Bachelor’s Top-Up pathways, Postgraduate Diplomas, Master’s pathways, Master’s Top-Up opportunities, and professional and career-development programmes.

Certain qualifications may be delivered, awarded, validated, progressed, or supported through external awarding organisations, universities, academic partners, or education partners.

The applicable awarding organisation, progression partner, or university will be communicated for the relevant programme where applicable.

Admission to a programme is subject to the applicant satisfying the relevant academic, English-language, professional, age, or other entry requirements.

Applicants are responsible for providing complete and accurate information during the application and enrolment process.

Stanford College of Higher Education reserves the right to request supporting documentation, verify academic qualifications and identification documents, request additional evidence of eligibility, or decline an application where entry requirements are not satisfied.

Acceptance onto one programme does not automatically guarantee admission or progression to another programme.

Students are responsible for paying all applicable fees according to the payment schedule communicated at the time of admission or enrolment.

Fees may include, where applicable:

• Registration fees
• Tuition fees
• Examination fees
• Assessment fees
• Awarding-body registration fees
• Certification fees
• Resubmission fees
• Administrative fees
• University or progression-partner fees

A student may not be permitted to continue certain academic or administrative processes where required payments remain outstanding.

Fees charged by third-party awarding organisations, universities, or education partners may change independently of Stanford College of Higher Education.

Programmes may be delivered through one or more formats, including face-to-face learning, online learning, blended learning, independent study, workshops, tutorials, academic supervision, and practical or project-based learning.

The delivery method may vary depending on the programme, awarding organisation requirements, student cohort, academic arrangements, or operational circumstances.

Some programmes are delivered in association with or lead to qualifications awarded by external awarding organisations, universities, or education partners.

In such cases, students may also be required to comply with the regulations, policies, assessment procedures, and academic requirements of the relevant external organisation.

Stanford College of Higher Education does not control decisions made independently by external awarding organisations or universities regarding final award decisions, certification timelines, external verification, assessment moderation, university admissions, credit transfer, Top-Up admission, recognition by third parties, or immigration and visa decisions.

Recognition of a qualification may vary depending on the purpose for which it is being used.

Students are responsible for confirming whether a particular qualification meets the requirements of employers, universities, professional bodies, government authorities, immigration authorities, credential evaluation organisations, licensing organisations, and overseas institutions.

Stanford College of Higher Education cannot guarantee that every qualification will be accepted for every employment, academic, immigration, licensing, or professional purpose.

Students must complete assessments in accordance with the instructions and deadlines communicated by Stanford College of Higher Education or the relevant awarding organisation.

Assessment decisions may be subject to internal assessment, internal quality assurance, external quality assurance, moderation, verification, and awarding-body approval.

Completion of coursework alone does not automatically guarantee the award of a qualification.

Certificates, transcripts, letters, and other academic documents will only be issued where the relevant academic and administrative requirements have been satisfied.

Students are responsible for checking the accuracy of personal information provided for certification purposes.

Where a qualification is awarded by an external awarding organisation or university, the format, issue date, processing period, and certificate requirements may be determined by that organisation.

Students are expected to behave professionally and respectfully when interacting with staff, lecturers, fellow students, academic partners, awarding organisations, visitors, and third-party service providers.

Harassment, discrimination, threats, violence, fraud, abusive conduct, deliberate disruption, or misuse of facilities or systems may result in disciplinary action.

Unless otherwise stated, website content belonging to Stanford College of Higher Education, including text, graphics, branding, logos, page layouts, photographs, educational materials, and other original content, is protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.

Content may not be reproduced, modified, republished, distributed, or commercially exploited without appropriate permission.

Logos and trademarks belonging to external awarding organisations, universities, partners, or third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

Personal information submitted to Stanford College of Higher Education will be handled in accordance with our applicable Privacy Policy and data-protection obligations.

Information may be processed where necessary for admissions, student administration, academic delivery, assessment, certification, verification, communication, regulatory requirements, awarding-body registration, academic progression, and legitimate institutional purposes.

Stanford College of Higher Education will take reasonable measures to provide its educational and administrative services appropriately.

However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, Stanford College of Higher Education will not be responsible for losses arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control, third-party decisions, interruptions to external services, or actions of independent awarding organisations, universities, or service providers.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes any legal rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Students who have concerns regarding academic or administrative matters are encouraged to communicate with Stanford College of Higher Education through the appropriate official channel.

We aim to review legitimate concerns fairly and in accordance with applicable institutional procedures.

These Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka.

Any dispute relating to these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the applicable legal processes and jurisdiction of Sri Lanka.
